Please consider becoming a Volunteer Paw on Saturday, June 26, 2010. We
are always looking for dedicated volunteers like you to help make our
events successful. Even though PAW-A-THONTM
is a half day event from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, there are a lot of
behind the scene help we can use that day. From set-up to tear- down
there is help needed. Are you a student looking for Community Service/Volunteer hours?
Volunteering is a fantastic way to give back to the community. It is also a great way to meet other pet lovers and create lasting friendships. This year you can meet the Grand Marshal, Alameda County Supervisor Alice Lai-Bitker. Come join us and help make this a PAWTACULAR event!
If you can't help on the day of the event, we have other opportunities for you to participate. Please download the Volunteer Form for a list of volunteer opportunities. Below is a quick sampling:
- Flyer and Poster Distribution
- Table Tops - distribute fliers and answer questions
- Speaker/Presenter at Community Groups and Home Owner Assn Meetings
- Computer Entry
- Mailings
- Goody Bag Assembly
- Set-up and Tear-down
- Raffle Ticket Sales
We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help us with our Mission. Click here for a Volunteer Form or contact us via email or call (510) 910-2754.
